Penny James, Explorations, hosted a Small Residential Program Summit in Whitefish, Montana on September 11th and 12th to review the NATSAP Principles of Good Practice. Their task was to determine the principles application to a small residential program, which generally fell into the home-based residential treatment category. They were chartered not only with determining their applicability, but to establish principles that would specifically apply to a small residential program.
