The longevity of our family-centered HomeBase Residential Program speaks for itself. Students ages 13-18 have participated in Explorations residences since 1990, and they look and feel like home! Students that are accepted into this program have identified their core issues and are willing to work on discovering solutions to every-day-life problems.
Our students parents are willing to be involved in an ongoing and healthy reunification process through close communications and structured visits. Adult mentors at HomeBase are nurturing, but firm, and guide students and their families through the difficulties of practicing healthy life choices.
We cooperate with our local school district to provide individualized academics, and combine that with life skills and values training, parent involvement and individual and group therapy to form the key components of our HomeBase residential settings.
